Remember in November? Will Do.

April 24, 2010

I’m pretty pumped about 2010. November 2010 will be the first time I’m eligible to vote – ever. That’s a big deal. So when I ran across the wonderful new site created by the Republican Governor’s Association called “Remember November,” my interest was piqued. It’s a fun little site that pledges to “Remember November so that we can return America to its founding principles of freedom, personal responsibility and economic liberty. We Remember November so we, our children, and grandchildren can live with the freedoms our founding fathers intended.”

Yes, please.

And be sure to watch the awesome video on the page. It will fire you up.

So who’s ready to win in November?

I’m ready for November! My husband, Jacob Turk, is running for Congress. He is a US Marine Corps veteran and former small business owner who felt called to run for office to add a voice of reason to the US Congress. One who respects the role of free markets in the success of the US economy, who understands that small business is the job creation engine of America, and that government agencies are not the answer to the problems with the health care system. He is NOT a lawyer or a career politician, the typical profile of candidates for the House or Senate. He’s just an ordinary businessman who is on an extraordinary mission to win a seat in Congress for the people.

Please join me in supporting Jacob Turk for Congress!
